oh really..haha! true i never used the security keyguard before..cause i ever screwed up my whole sim when i forgot the security code..so i dare touch the security lock anymore after that incident..

Hmm... did you key in the wrong code more than 2 tries, if so, the phone will lock you out from any correct entry... it happen to me once.
One way out is reflash the phone but you can try removing your batt for half a hour and putting it back and try keying the security code again. It works for my phone. This method is from Nokia.

i think what i forgot was the pin code, not the security code..anyway..after that i tried to stop emddling with the security settings anymore..so i dun use the security keyguard..

Great tip "."! I always silence my warning tones by default. I thought no sound was because the games I installed were cracked. Can enjoy Bejeweled and Pac Man to its fullest now.

The same thing happened to me with the security code. Its just one of the consequences of exploring your device to the fullest. I understand this feature now but still stay clear.
