v1050 sms storage problem after flashing

After changing my v1050s firmware with e1000s firmware everithing seems to be fine, i get rid of vodafone menu BUT my sms memory decreased to 40 sms from 100+. is anybody knows what should i do???
i was wondering if i 'll flash again my phone with v635 firmware will this work.
i have to say that i dont care about 3g and i bought this phone because the price it was very cheap.

you can try seem editing to have the sms save to phone rather sim.

Use xlr8 guide for the exact seem file and offset bit.

i ve been there but as i can see the seem editing istructions are for v*** models mine now is an "e" model after firmware update

most motorola use the same seem file. It might be the same.

Make sure that you make backup of your oringinal seems before editting. Incase it is not the same.

changing seem worked fine with me, the sms storage increased to 100+ i believe.
is anyone knows if i can use both (sim-phone memory) at the same time ??
can i have the sms report always turned on ????
and finaly if i flash my phone again, using v635s firmware this time icon_smile.gif)))))))) will i damage my phone???

you can save your contact to both phone and sim, however, you will view duplicates.

Not sure about sms reports. I suppose you can.

If the V1050 doesn't use the same firmware file as the V635, you will fry your phone.
