I've had my v330 for a couple of weeks now, and there are a few things that just bug me. I upgraded from a nokia 6010 and I'm not used to the motorola setup. I've been wondering if there's anything I can do to fix these things.
1. the external keys on the phone make annoying beeps when I have my phone on vibrate. I want to find some way to make my phone completely silent, yet still have it vibrate when someone calls/texts me. I don't want my phone to randomly beep when I have everything else on vibe.
2. Is there any way to change the ring volume without opening my phone?
3. Can I change the names of the ringstyles, or create my own?
Thanks in advance.

1. It shouldn't beep on vibrate that could be some kind of awkward mess.
2. Hit the volume key and the outter screen will display the name of the ringer profile, then hit the key below the volume to scroll through the possible ringer profiles.
3. No you cannot create new ones but you can edit them. Menu>Settings>Audio>(e.g. Loud) Detail and theres a list of settings in there you can edit.

I have it on vibrate right now and I can't get the volume keys to be silent. It blows my mind.

I had the same problem and tried the solution you suggested but when i go to edit the vibrate detail menu, there is no option of changing the key volume. I am not quite sure on what to do, i have a V330.
