Is it possible (unlocked phone?) Friend of mine really likes my Razr but is in an area (South Georgia) where Cingular and T-Mobile have no coverage.

Thanks for the response Old_Fool ... so I'm going to assume that not all Razr's are GSM? That being the case - if he can find a GSM Razr that is unlocked, how would he "activate" it so he could use his Alltel service?

I don't know anyhting about alltel but if it have GSM service then all you have to do is find the unlock GSM raz or if it's lock get it unlock then just go to Alltel and active a new account. Get the sim card from them , insert it in the raz and start using it. You may need the rep there to get all the IP number and thing like that to enter to your fone so you can use internet and also web setting..ect
