Hey, I got my cable yesterday and got BitPIM to work just fine. I'm going to try asking the owners of the group about writing up a Sticky on how to set it up. Until then I posted it to my group.

I got my cable yesterday and working great. I used the Prolific drivers for the cable and the LG drivers for the phone. After playing with settings in BitPIM got it working like a champ.

actually I had some .mp3 and just renamed them to .mid and they worked. I did run across some that didn't make a sound but the ones I really wanted worked great.

hey mrmonteith, you seem to know much about the LGVX5200. I have that phone, and i bought the USB cable. When i use BiTPim, all i can access is the Filesystem. How do i use that to add ringtones?
Would you mind emailing me with an answer at matcantleeey@hotmail.com?
