i connected my phone before and install all the drivers. i checked the modem it was connected to com 4 then when i disconnect my phone and reconnected the modem doesnt connect anymore.

Give alittle finese. If that don't work, slam it on the ground a few times.
Seriously, try turning off/on while the phone is plug in puter. Or deleted the motorola usb modem and reconnect again. Motorola phones are stuborn at times.
