Someone sent me an amr ringtone to my Nokia 7250i phone. When I try to open it I get an error message "Object format not supported". Is there any settings on my phone that I can change? or is there any way of changing the format on the ringtone through my phone?
Thanks.

i dont think 7250i can use amr files as ringtones......afaik it only uses midi..midi has no voice..only music. u cant convert amr to midi...unless the amr is a song then try finding the same song in midi format elsewhere..

The Nokia 6220, which is very similar to the 7250i can read .amr files.

The 7250i can't use .amr-files, only .mid-files.

I have been failing to put midi ringtones on my 7250i phone, is it because the actual format of the files is 'midi sequence'.

Try using the Nokia PC Suite to make the tone compatible, it might have to much instrument or uses instruments, the phone doesn't support.
