i'd like to email a couple of pics to a buddy of mine, who's also on cingular...

the actual sending is not a problem, but i do have a question... he has the standard "pay for what you use" plan when it comes to mms, so if i sent him a set of 5 pics at about 20kb each, how much should this set him back?

in other words, who does cingular charge when you receive pictures from something like a gmail account?

thanks...

it will not work. You will need to upload the pic to him using
funformobile(.)com

He will receive a text with a link to go and download the pictures from there.

MMS is from phone to phone I believe.

When you send pictures over the phone, i beleive that will use your "medianet" internet traffic, or am i mistaken?

It depends. If you send picture using mms over the phone, it will be charge as mms. However, if you send picture to another email account, it will be charge as "internet traffic".

What he wanted to do was to send pictures from an email account using a pc to phone. It will not work. I have tried it in the past with no success.

I have also been able to send pictures from the computer via email to the cellphone with out a problem, but the picture can't be to large as it won't show on the phone if its bigger then 640X480 or something.
