vonCreutz,
Unfortunately, Samsung's S/W doesn't has the function to download video or pictures to your PC via data cable. It can only be used to download photos taken by the camera. The only way that you can send the video or picture out of the phone is by attaching it to a MMS message.

I`ve tryed with the software that comes with the data cable and also with the software form the Samsung's home site. I don`t get it... neither one of them has some utility to extract the videos. Or the pictures that I`ve downloaded trough WAP. So... do you know some software with these feature? Or some trick ? |

Hello.
I have this problem. My dad has a Samsung SGH-E300, and would like to be able to transfer the photos he's taken using the inbuilt camera to his PC, but we're not sure how to do it.
We bought a data cable and a CD full of software off eBay. The cable states on a sticker that it's for an SGH-E330; I don't know if that makes any difference as to whether it'll work or not.
But, I installed the drivers for the USB data cable with no trouble, so it's now on port COM3. Thing is, the CD came with lots of different software, and no instructions on which to install or which does what. I've tried installing EasyGPRS, PIMS & File Manager, and Image Editor, but none of them can find the phone when I plug the data cable into it. He doesn't want to phonebook or any other piece of faffing around with the software, he just wants to be able to simply transfer the photos he's taken to his PC with as little fuss as possible.
I've no idea what else to do really, and I'm hoping someone on here can tell me what I should download and install, and how to configure it so he can get his photos onto his pc (and get him off my back about it at the same time )
Any and all help would be appreciated, and if you need any other info, please just ask. I'd like to get this solved one way or another as soon as possible really.
