There is a warez call P2Keasy tool 3.7 that will unlock it , but you have to do test point first before you can use it to unlock

isnt there a way to simply generate the 'subsidy password' it asks me for?

Now it's sound like you will go thru with this so,i let you in a little more secret!!! lol.
The test point guide in this video is so complicated !!!!
All you have to do is follow it to to part that disconnecting the camera, the screens and stop there.
Now you see the hole right below the white dot( water damage detector) some one have drilled it before, there is no hole there at all. Right about there you should use a dremel not to cut but to drill it to the point that the metal is thin enoght that you can poke it with a exacto nife.
You don't have to remove the main board out of the frame either. Keep it in there so you can insert the battery to do test point althought if you just test point to unlock you don't need battery on this model!!!.
now you would use a wire to touch the test point while lean the wire against the side of the hole that you made to short it out as soon as you see the software ( what ever you are using at the time) see the fones as Sblank Neptune LTE2 you then remove the wire, now you are ready to unlock or repair PDS..ect...
There is a round ball bit use for grinding i used that
Oh if you need the picture of the test point just email me.
And ..other people make money out of this, i'm doing this for free if that not a fool then what is????

a pic of the testpoint would be greatly appreciated... although i think i will cut rather than drill... i'm not too steady with a drill and wouldnt want it to go str8 through the thing lol... but with a cutting disc i could perform a cisarian section on a newt LOL (altho i'm not sure if i can spell cisarian )
email to XXXXXXXXXXXX
thanks man
matt
ps... please confirm that i DONT need the battery for this operation? draws its power through the USB cable does it?
pps... doesnt make you a fool, simply makes you a very very generous man
