Hello,
My little brother thrashed his old phone trying to do a Jackass stunt. so to replace it, I gave him my V400. But when we powered it on, it displayed a password/unlock code prompt. I'm not very familiar with the workings of cell phones, but I understand that it's the carrier that puts these locks on the phone.
So how do I unlock it? The service provider is Cingular.

Email Old Fool, he can guide you through the unlock process, its relatively easy with the older (Pre-Razr) models.

Hello Old_Fool,
My mobiledia user name is "fhh2rtre" and I was going thru some old posts concerning a Motorola v505 that I am trying to get unlocked.
In one message, I see where you offered to do this for free if the sender was to pay for shipping both ways. This message was from 2005, so I decided to contact you and see if you still can do this.
I got the v505 from my daughter and it has a Cellular One sim card in it. I want to switch over to Cingular, which works the best in my area.
Whatever you can do to help would be greatly appreciated.

Hey Old_Fool i need ur help, ok i have a MOTOROLA RAZR V3 , i tried using monster pack. I did not backup forgot stupid mistake. Now whever i turn on the phone it gives a blank screen but you can here the sounds and everything. I was wondering how you could, can fix this
btw the phones is cingular
i need help fixing this thanks

Yes, It all Worked But i only have one problem, my video camera, and picture camera don't. Whenever i start it it gives me a blank screen.
