you can remove the mMode stuff with seem editing... same with removing the t-mobile on the screen, just SEARCH around first

alpha tag can be replaced with date through seem editting, easiest way to debrand the phone with flexing with unbraded firmware

nevermind i found it at motoaid, but from what i've read, i will loose everything , including ringtones?
i have a att wireless branded v600 (Motorola CE, Copyright 2000 - V600 (TRIPLETS_G_0B.09.4AR) is this a really old version? i would really like to keep the original moto ring tones, as i dont like songs on my phone much.. but the pictures, att mmode crap, and games i dont care about.. my reception right now is pretty good and i'd hate to flash and find its worse, is there a flash for me?

Flashing alone will not erase everything flexing will do that> If you are looking at unbranded firmware you will need to flex but make sure you back everything up.

You will need driver for p2kman to recognize your phone. Do you have either MPT or PST installed?
