I work for cingular and had a girl come in today with an unbranded v600. I checked her firmware and she had:
TRIPLETS_G_0B.09.2FR_A1
FLEX: GS9V600DST01NA14F
Is this an old flash/flex? I don't care though, her sounds seemed to be coming in WAY louder and clearer than mine and I would like to know where I can get my hands on these files.
I have never done this before but I am very interested in learning how. You have seen me milling around in here from time to time and I would like some help. I did forum search after forum search and checked all your stickies on flashing and flexing, none of them are anywhere NEAR user friendly.
I would appreciate help in my endeavors and first of all, what are all the programs I need? I know something about p2kman, is that it? I have a USB cable and my phone info backed up and I am ready to do this. Any help would be greatly appreciated!!
Also, is there any flash/flex that I could put on my phone to use ENS software? For Cingular? Thank you so much guys.

That isnt a super new flex, Newest is 72R you can make your phone louder without flashing though. You just need to edit the gain tables. Here is a guide to seem editing for beginners http://xlr8.us/hofo. To flash you need either PST and Patch or RSD. You will need to do google search to get programs. If you decide to seem edit the gain tables you will need XVI32, P2kman and either MPT or PST for the driver.

Yo it may be a driver problem or you may have some dirt or dust between where the cable connects to the phone. Take an old tooth brush or something and make sure the connections on the bottom of the phone are clean. For shizzle.
Also for your MPT installation needs read herre: www.webhosting4free.org/rewcons

Ok
I figured out that the v300 bottom connector is not working right - thats why it wont connect. I tried cleaning it with a toothbrush but it still doesn't work.
However, my v600 does work.
So I got MPT working just fine again with USB, but P2KMan still won't load. It errors out, giving me the send error report to microsoft blah blah screen. Am I using the right P2kMan?
I have one called P2KMan_PST, that seemed to be the one everyone was talking about so I got it. Is that indeed the "PST" everyone is talking about? What does PST stand for anyways? So many questions... I wish somewhere just had all the damn answers for them.
If I am using the right P2KManager (not sure what p2k stands for either... Phone to Komputer?)? If so, any idea why it's not working? Does it not work with WinXP or what?

Ok so sweet - I downloaded the regular P2Kman, messed with some stuff and this is definetely sweet. I deleted the stupid SEEITMOTO video and the default pictures, and am about to take off the ringtones. This is so awesome!
I am still having problems with PST... it will not open. Is there another program out there that I can put a new flex on my phone with?
