Hi
I can't find a way of adding Goto shortcuts to profiles, which I used to be able to do on 6230. When I'm at work, I'm constantly having to switch between Silent (at my desk) and Meeting (when I'm at meetings) and this 6680 is driving me mad.
I have to press the following to swich between profiles:
-click on Menu
-click to select Tools.
-click on Tools
-click to select Profiles
-click once/twice to select desired profile
-click to Activate
-click on End button to exit.
That's 7 presses to switch a profile.
The manual says you can add items into Goto but when I'm in Profiles menu there's no option to add into Goto.
Please help!!
Cheers
Len Aye

How about pressing the power button shortly and switch that way between profiles this works for years on all Nokia phones.

Be polite... there are people who never used a Nokia phone before...

Thanks Bjoern, and no thanks to rajeevn80 for his unhelpful comments.

I might get the Nokia 6682 so your dilemma means something to me because although I won't have a Silent Ringer problem (being retired), I do want to be aware of what can and does go wrong with the 6682 and Nokias in general. I hope you have found a good solution to your problem rather than a mechanical go-around. -Kismet

Hi Kismet
The solution suggested by bjoern works so does the solution I found out myself. This is what you do:
From menu select Tools-Settings-Phone-Standby Mode-Right selection key and select Profiles.
This changes the Right selection key to Profiles.
Result!

This is good news. There are people here who will offer support *AND* you were able to figure it out, meaning that there IS some sort of meaning and "path" to follow. I like it!
