When someone texts me, their number shows me who has text me, but not remebering everyones name in my phonebook this does not help me.
My sisters Motorola which is a downgrade of my V600 shows her the names of the people who have contacted her, mine does not.
Does anyone know how to change my view of the inbox so that i see my contacts names and not numbers as this would make replying to certain people much easier.
Thank You

The problem may lie in storing your contacts in phone rather the sim card. Make sure it is stored in phone.
Is yoru phone a V400?

plus they need to be stored with the area code first atleast the north american Vxxx phones need this format (xxx-xxx-xxxx).

my phone is a V600 and i stored all my numbers to my phone and not the sim when i wanted to have picture id's for my contacts but the names will still not appear in my inbox.
maybe i should delete all my contacts and start again!
