Phone Model: Motorola RAZR V3
Service Provider: Cingular |

I have a Motorola V3 Black Razr. I get no coverage at my house. Even when I am outside my house. Cingular tech support tells me I should be
able to use my phone. They tell me I am in a low coverage area. I know that Cingular uses T-Mobile for roaming. My sister has T-Mobileand has a very strong signal at my house. I like to know is there a way that I can force my phone to use the T-Mobile towers when I am at home? Or is there something that Cingular can do to help. They have already sent a signal push to my phone several times. I hate to leave Cingular when my contract is up at the end of August. I have had no problem with Cingular in the past.
Thanks

You can try manual network selection, but if there is no roaming agreement you will not be able to use T-Mobile's tower.

try this
From the stand by screen, press the Menu key.
Scroll to Settings and select by pressing the right soft key.
Scroll to Network, and select by pressing the right soft key.
Scroll to Network Setup, and select by pressing the right soft key. Scroll to Type, and select by pressing the right soft key.
Scroll to Manual, and select by pressing the right soft key.
Select Done, and select by pressing the left soft key.
The device will search for all available networks.
Scroll to the second cingular in the list if there is one and select View, by pressing the right soft key.
The device will display the Network ID.(if you see an ID of 410 use it)
To register on the network, select Register, by pressing the right soft key.

I just want to know if there's anything I can do to my phone to boost my reception. Not really sure I understand your reply but it didn't help me out any.
