Hey I am living in Jamaica & got a Sidekick 2 from one of my aunts who bought it for me. But it seems to be locked to T-Mobiles network, can anyone please help me I need to unlock it I love it very much & would like to use it on our network in Jamaica.

You will need to contact tmobile usa in order to unlock your phone. I'm not sure if they would unlock it or not. Are you aware that the tmobile sidekick 2 will not function correctly even when unlocked with another countries sim card. None of the data features will work. Only the phone and sms features will work.

Yeah I heard that none of those functions would be operational, I just think it looks cool & do u think it would be able to work with our WAP out here & do I have to call T-Moblie from a T-Mobile cell phone?

You may be able to call your current cellular company and have them request the unlock code. I'm not sure on that process, talk to xxsamsungxx. He is really good at these things.

None of the Data functions will operate with Digicel Jamaica, and you will not be able to use their wap. Phone's data features are only compatible with T-Mobile USA. Only way you can get it unlocked that I know about is with T-Mobile, if you know someone with a T-Mobile account they will be able to do it for you probably.
