New here. . . sorry if this is a repeat
I am a cingular customer in Phila, PA and I have a 5 month old Nokia phone that sucks. If i am to purchase a new cell phone from eBay, what do i need to know about that phone/do after purchasing to ensure it will work with my service (ie, with SIM card, etc.)??
Thanks!

make sure the phone is unlock to any provider meaning you can put any sim chip and it will work.

And if you buy from overseas make sure that the phone supports your carriers bandwidth.

I would check the phone specs... make sure it has 850 mhz capability at minimum... if its 1900 only it would be like stabbing yourself in the foot
