If I buy the phone from ebay, will I have a warranty? If not, maybe I should just buy the thing new so that I am covered.
Either way, I plan on modifying the phone. I am endlessly tinkering with my computer, so I will not be able to resist doing the same with a phone.
I am currently using a v300. Is there any benefit as far as reception, earpiece, and volume with available edits?

My volume stinks on the V3 even all the way to the top at 7. I saw some posts that the volume could be edited. Anyone who can help with this would be a lifesaver!
Thanks so much!!!!!!

The factory volume (even at the max) stinks on my V3. I saw some posts that this could be modified or seem edited (what ever that is)
If anyone can help provide some direction on how to do this I would GREATLY appreciate it. Understand any factory warranty would go out the window....but at this point, I don't care.
Thanks!
