Hey, I'm back. Because of cingular's new browser update, my internet isn't working at all. I'm pretty sure I overwrote some settings.
Can you explain how to restore my old settings using the back up files I made? I'm confused since in the instructions you put new files on your phone, plus change some values.
I mean, it's possible to use the backups to completely restore your old settings, right?
Thanks for helping me out on this.

Hi Samsung, u seem like the guy to ask about this,
I've got:
Flash : R374_G_0E.40.79R
Flex : SE8630AXXP1079
I cant find Multiflashflex Tools 1.8 anywhere! It doesnt come with the software that came with my phone, is there anywhere you know I could get it?
Is my phone capable of video recording or is it too old? And if it is what flash / flex version do you recommend I upgrade to? R374_G_0E.42.09R? R374_G_0E.42.0CR?
Thanks.

Your S/w Version is too old. Download 42.0DR from www.motox.us As far as PST goes I cant help you with that as its not freeware.

I tried finding the 42.0DR but it only comes with all the add ons which I dont want, know anywhere I can find it without the extras? And is there any other program I can use apart from MultiFlashFlex?

Maybe you could send me a direct link to that flash file and an appropriate flex file to use with it? Never done this before but it looks quite straight forward, just want to find the right files first!
Just found a copy of PST with MultiFlashFlex Tools 1.8

I tried the file you uploaded, plus checked my browser settings. Still didn't work. I'm thinking the backups would be the best idea. I'm just not sure what values I need to change after uploading my old files.
Plus, I'm having problems with my external speaker... so I might have it replaced under warranty. I think having it obviously modded won't help in getting it fixed.
Thanks for the help and happy Thanksgiving.
