so do some phones come with video already enabled? I just bought 2 phones on a Rogers contract and I'd love to have video.
First things first though since both are black Razr phones I'd like to have them display our names rather than "Rogers" on the front display. This is pretty straight forward right? I'm a ttal newb to this, I've never even owned a cell phone before....

How do I check the bootloader version?

You can check the bootloader version by pressing * + # + Power button. If I havent updated my guide to state that the bootloader is not relevant in this mod im sorry. Doesnt matter what bootloader you have on the phone it will work. To change the image on the outside with the flip open you have to make sure that the SEEM 004a_001 > offset 27 is set 00. Also make sure you upload a 96 x 80 gif to /a/mobile/system/. If you have no idea how to seem edit check these guides out:

Hi! Well I was doing video on my brothers new razr because I was showing off mine and he asked me to do his for him. I remembered all the hard work and time it took out of me  but me being kind and all, accepted and told him it will be finished in 2 days. It all came back pretty easily and I was almost finished with more memory, video and a windows xp skin within an hour when I ran into the same problem as John16v  . It just sits there while it says loading. Samsung, you asked him to email you and you would send him a new video pack. I didn't figure my software would be too old since the Razr is brand new.. oh well. Maybe I'll work on it another time.

Yeah if you want to email me the original seems from his phone I will do them for you. Just make sure you email me what you want done as I get alot of emails.

Hey... I was able to do the steps and the phone records now..
but the Roaming icon is on...
I am not sure if i'm really roaming or if its just a problem with the new seems....
anyone have this problem?

hi, i made the flashing and then i put the v3 video,, i can do all, ecept one thing... i can`t touch the styles and rings of my phone because when i try into there it kick me.. i try again flashing and nothing.. i got software:R374_G_OE.42.09R AND flex:
gsmv3ctiarla087 -2.0.x.3.2.8.0.3r.0.0.1t.1n.1.0.0.3i.i.1.2m.24
whit keybugrepair already..
