Well, just had to update this and say I now have video. I cheated though. I got the Flash/flex moster pack from a pink razr and put that on. But it worked great. Took about 5 minutes with MFF program. Apparently you can have it done at a Roger's dealer but the only 2 here barely knew how to turn the phone on...
Still have some editing to do to get those DRM files hacked and also to get longer vids. So I'm sure I'll be back.

I have a black RAZR locked to Rogers.
Will unlocking my RAZR enable the video capture?
If not, will there be any complications if i unlock my RAZR and enable the video capture?

You don't need to unlock fone for this purpose.
go to tutorial section and look up for the how to enable video recorder for your razr

The only reason i'm asking is because if unlocking can enable video record than i would rather have my RAZR unlocked...instead of hacking my RAZR.
How long does the process take?
My RAZR didn't include a USB cable nor the MPT, can i use a mini USB instead...is this correct?
Enabling video can only be done on firmware 08.23 and 08.26...is this correct?
If my RAZR has older firmware, i would need to upgrade my RAZR's firmware to 08.23 or 08.26...is this correct?
What are the advantages of upgrading my RAZR's firmware from 08.23 to 08.26?
If and when i successfully hack my RAZR, should there be any problems?
Any tips prior to hacking my RAZR?

**That is bootloader version, but it's normaly came with newer firmwar.
To find out what frimware version you have you need to do this.
Type *#9999# and let me know what that is and i can tell you if you need to upgrade or not.
Advantage of upgrade to new firmware is fone will run faster, bugs have been fix, some case improve camera and video images..

Can i use seems from another network provider and upload the seems onto my RAZR?
I know my RAZR's bootloader and firmware version, i found a mini USB cable...any other tips?

now you need to find PST and the Universal Patch then look in tutorial for how to flash and flex so that you can upgrade your firmware.
Email me if you don't have new firmware

Yes you got the tutorial thread right , that is the one but if it's mention any flash file in there don't use that, just read and understand the basic then email me i'll send you the flash files
