Samsung,
I've a couple questions after having uploaded your seem for video recording. Some changes I noticed:
Phone adds a roaming triangle and changes the name of service provider depending on my geographic loaction.
Disabled custwakeup.gif/custgoodbye.gif
iTAP texting et al.
different MOTO startup animation.
I edited your seem a bit to activate the custwakeup.gif; works great.
Easily changed the iTAP setting.
Different MOTO start up ani doesn't bother me a bit.
Should I be concerned about the roaming triangle and service provider name change? If not, I'm just going to leave it as its being there doesn't bother me. I'm in the States and subscribe to Cingular; Cingular usually is displayed above the date (date is edited to say something else.) Now the `Cingular' display will change to `Centennial' with the roaming triangle displayed. If this is just a cosmetic difference, I will leave it alone as my service hasn't suffered. I didn't see this addressed anywhere on the thread but I may have missed it. I did read the fix post but if I don't need to fix, I'll leave it alone.
Thanks again for all your work; its amazing what you people can figure out.

So has anyone tried to transfer the videos they've recorded on their RAZR to the computer and successfully played them back? Both Quicktime and Windows Media player are telling me that the file is an invalid format. I've tried using the default *.mp4 extension and I also tried transfering it with a *.mpg extension but neither works. I can replay them just fine on the phone. Any suggestions or input?

@Screwtape you dont need to worry about getting charged for Roaming unless your outside your Home Calling Area... if you have a nationwide plan then your fine within the united states.. Dont worry about the carrier name.

Hey. I used the advanced option above to enable video on my razr, but now I have a problem. I was playing around with the video styles, and some times they work, and some of them will cause problems. If I set it to like 'greenish' and record a video, then all of the sudden the screen will just die. I have to take out the battery and restart the phone. Any ideas on this? I tried it on two razrs and I have the same result. Any new bit manipulations I need to try?
Thanks John

I have a Moto V3 Razr /w T mobile R374_G_0E.42.09R and I tried this step
| Quote: | Other Seem Edits
1. Video length: Maximum/MMS
SEEM 0032_0001 offset 6E bit 3 (1 on, 0 off) |
I did that successfully and now i see that setting on my menu. I set it to either in my phone (MMS or Max) and try it and I still cant record more than 10 seconds. Now I'm here
| Quote: | To get Vids over a minute long:
1.Message Center Menu > Inbox Setup > MMS Message Setup > Size Limit: None
2.Menu>multimedia>video>menu>video setup>video length>MMS |
The problem is that I dont have the 1st step. I do not have the "Size limit" setting in my "MMS Message Setup" menu. Do you have any suggestions, i'll appreciate it.

Also - there are problems with some custom skins which appear to hang here - in this case - close the flip and the video should be saved
