hello, i tried the "newbie" tut, it worked but now my phone is completely different. for one, the start up is diffrent, i have roaming triangles in the upper left i have a huge analog clock on the lower right. and the one thing that bothers me the most is that i can not get into the settings menu. my phone already had video but somehow i did a seem edit and i disabled it, so i did the tut. and what i got is 4 bad things and only one good outcome(video limit none).

please help me on resetting my phone completly and still being able to keep the video limit to none.
i am a n00b at all this so please spare me icon_exclaim.gif

The clock can be changed in your settings menu - if you could get to it.

Sounds like you have done a bad seem edit.

Restore your backups.

Didn't make one - you are gonna have to apply a flex - get one from http://www.planetmotox.net/flex.php or http://www.planetmotox.net/flexlash.php

Edit: Just seen your second post - yes you can upload the seems from his phone and put them on yours

ok i pretty much restored all the files back on to my razr, the only thing i got a error was on the mma_ucp, it says "File upload...548///mma_ucpGENERIC FAILURE"

other than that my phone is fine, just the way it was before this whole mess. now the only thing i still wanna do, is make my videos longer than a minute.
so if someone can help me with my seem editing that would be GREAT!

i have tried that, it didnt work, when i went to the videos setup it had a new option "MMS and Max" but when i went to the messages setup there was no "size limit" option.

You need to do

Seem 0032_0001 offset 7F - bit 0: Message > Message Setup > MMS Message Setup, Size Limit (1 on, 0 off)

The option is in message setup>mms message setup>size limit

ok im going to try that now...

edit: did it, but it didnt work, let me explain what i did

k so i plugged in my phone, and using P2K PFM i downloaded "0032_0032"
then i used "10s Seem Changer" and i opened the seem i just saved, then i changed offset to 7F, and i clicked read offset, set bit, and setVal. then i closed that program and went on P2K phone file manager. and uploaded "0032_0001" after it was done i restarted my phone and i went on my phone and i looked for the option and it still wasnt there.
what did i do wrong?
