Phone Model: V300-flexed with GI9V600000AA0E9 flashed with TRIPLETS_G_0B.0 9.72R
Service Provider: trying to make it work in cingular |

Yea i went online and found a series of possible codes for my phone but unfortunately none of them worked. and now i have a message that tells me to call my provider. i can't because i didn't buy a plan. i flashed and flexed it b/c i heard it worked and i was planing on doing that any way.
my question is. 1. Does Unbranding the phone that way Delete the Subsidy code? 2. Is it to late and am i totally screwed? 3. If im not what can i do to make it work with cingular in stead of t-mobile for free?

You may be SOL. Only the provider's knows the PUK. That is the code you will need to obtain now.

the problem with that is that i got the phone from a ebay auction. Im a cingular customer and i don't have a t-mobile account. that being said. i need to know is the PUK code is encoded in the sim or phone. if it's in the sim then i got it covered. i went to cingular got a new sim free of charge b/c the replacement phone they gave LG c1300 couldn't make calls. I think i need to have a new antenna sent if i decide to use the phone. It is to my belief that they gave me a phone with an old antenna on it.
thanks for your help in advance.

(BOLD) Thats a trickey question. i believe its IN the phone. the phone is what needs the code now. not the SIM card. ive heard that you need to call your provider (same as what duceduc said) and they would ask for the PUK code from Motorola (duceduc said that too).
now, you can correct me (greatly appreciated because im not 100% sure) because you said that you had got a new SIM card. you never said what happened when you put it in...does it still say Contact provider (o and you need to wait 1 hour, and it will say enter the CORRECT subsidy again) or does it go through? if it still says Contact provider, then you will need to do just that. it will never work until you get that PUK code.

Motorola has NO PUK codes, only the service provider.

Im pretty sure that the default code to enable the pin is stored on the phone but the pin itself is stored on the sim card, the puk (pin unblocking key) is sim specific not phone specific, but I may be wrong.

so what provider do i call. cingular or t-mobile? i have put in the sim and the same thing happened but i only keep it in for a minute.
(edit)
I tried the keeping in the sim card for an hour thing and it worked now it's asking for the subsidy code again. now i need to know if it is possible to unlock a phone through flashing and flexing?
again i have a v300
i flashed it with TRIPLETS_G_0B.09.72R
i flexed it with GI9V600000AA0E9
so it effectively reacts and is an unbranded moto v600 or at least thats what i'm told.

No flash or flex will unlock your phone.
