I am a Tmobile user but my phone said "Cingular"...no big deal. Stopped by a Tmobile store and the guy there said "I can get rid of it for you"....Boy!! Did he ever!!! Under "Personalize" menu, I have lost wallpaper (open), wallpaper (closed), rotation sound and rotation antimation!! The rotation sound (when opening) sounds like a boat horn.
Does anyone know how to get my personalize menu back??? I have called motorola and they already had me reset...didn't do a thing!! HELP, PLEASE!! icon_cry.gif

Sounds like this one may need a major flash/flex or just have a seem replaced.

Thank you. I don't know what a flash or flex is. I bought it factory sealed from a store on eBay and there's no chance they would replace it, I'm sure!

Prob not, If you want to try to recover from whatever this guy did, you can always giving flashing/flexing a shot. I would recommend finding a Monster pack (flash and flex in one) that will get you back to square one.

Where do I get that and how do I do it?? Thank you for your help!

I did go back and he couldn't "undo" it!! He said he had done it with his V600 and it worked fine...and then he said "sorry"...don't know what to tell you!!

Some of the things you would need are:

1: USB Data Cable
2: Monster Flash

I doubt they'd replace it on eBay but its always worth a try you know? Before just jumping into flashing it just double check if they'll waranty it at all, even if not I'd still recommend you get the cable flash it then get into some of the stuff you can do to your phone. The possibilities are nearly endless icon_razz.gif and were here to teach you how, this board is filled with awesome team members and info.

Thanks again, and by the way, this is actually where this guy got the info to do that to my phone....he gave me this website to see if anyone could help! He said this is where he found out how to get the server logo off his phone and he just applied the same to my phone since the V600 and V80 are "compatible" (says he).
Where do I get this "monster" package??[/b]

In that case, take it back to him and have him reverse what he did. He may have checked the wrong offset or something similar. Maybe someone here has a V80 with a stock 0032_0001.seem and 004a_0001.seem? He needs some help if anyone reads this and has those backups possibly you could send it to him so he doesn't have to monsterflash it?

You will need a USB data cable, (if you have a digital camera the mini USB wire should do as well) and you will need to download P2kseem or P2kman.

I did take it back to him within an hour when I couldn't find my full list for personalize. He did try to reverse it but it did not come back. I also did the master reset and the master clear....nothing has worked! AND I also called Motorola but they said they don't have much info on the phone since it is a European phone and not really available here in the US. So they were absolutely no help at all!
I really appreciate all the help and replies you have been kind enough to give me.[/b]
