Thanks so much for all your help. I went to the Device Manager and reset it. It finally worked. Any ideas on what setting to use to get the best quality picture. Thanks again.

For wallpaper, the maximum resolution is 128x128 pixels.

Okay. i've installed the GPRS modem. I've uninstall the PIMS & File Manager and reinstalled it, but it still doesn't work. Grr...I'm about to chew my computer up. *sigh* Thanks so incredibly much for you help, js.

Run a virus scan on your PC first before you chew your computer up. It is usually very straight forward. If it doesn't work, something must be wrong. Cable, driver, computer or phone. You have to figure out which one is wrong. By the way, do you have friend that has E316 and cable? If yes, bring your cable and phone to your friend and try it out. If you got your cable from a shop, go there and ask if they can try the cable there. I got mine from an accessories shop and they are willing to show me that the cable works before I paid.

Nah..none of my friends have the same phone as me, or even a phone that would be compatible with my cable. I'm thinking of trying it out on my brother's computer later on tonight, so we'll see how that goes. If it still doesn't work, I guess I'll go back to the guy and ask what's up.

Actually, if the cable works in one shot, you don't have to go about installing the GPRS Modem driver.
---
If the computer/phone switch (any Agere series phones: S30x, E71x, E31x, X42x and D41x should work) doesn't work...
In the interests of covering all the grounds possible, allow me to ask about this possible issue:
Is there a possibility that the cable you have is an USB Unlocking Cable rather than an USB Data Cable?
They look similar/exactly the same, but each does a different function.

No..it should be a USB Data Cable. That's what it says on the package...
