Is there really a difference in all of this? My contract with AT&T is set to expire soon... i want the black v3 razr. I can either spend alittle more and unlock it to stay with AT&T or just goto cingular and get it with a new plan... whats the best thing to do and why?

Thanks for your help

go orange (cingular) this way your network will only grow! eventually att will be dropped off the map and it will all be cingular! If you go cingular now it will simply save you the trouble in the end! make sense?

I agree...the cingular plans are national roaming included with rollover...a better option...

Why stick with the old dying network .. and have to go through the hastle of unlocking your phone to work with at&t. What is the plan that you are on now? Usually the only reason worth staying with at&t is if they are giving you an amazing rate.

i too was in that conundrum but the dealership mister told me if i got a black one unlocked, it would void the one year warranty. Look at the razr, you know you're gonna drop it- just like your current phone, and the one before that and the...

well you get the point
