Method 1: Use a filemanager like FExplorer or SeleQ to add the folders c:\system\Apps\phone\oplogo.
Copy a .bmp or .mbm picture* to folder "oplogo" and restart your phone!
The .bmp or .mbm picture needs to be named something like this: "404_15_0.bmp". In this example it
is the code for Hutchison Essar, UP - India. It is the code of your country and your provider.
Try to find your operator logo code here: http://www.wascho.com/7650-oplogo
Method 2: It's really easy to a add an operator logo by using SeleQ.
Select a .bmp or .mbm picture* on your phone and press "Options", "File" and then "Set as operator logo". The phone will be reboot when completed.
SeleQ will add the folders c:\system\Apps\phone\oplogo with the selected picture as an operator logo in it. SeleQ automaticly names
the file as your operator logo code. This way you don't have to find the code yourself.
* The .bmp or .mbm picture size needs to be 97 x 25 pixels.

Despite reading all the techniques that was mentioned in this forum, I still have difficulty in removing my operator logo. I have used Logomanager ver 1.31 as well as Nokia Graphics available from Nokia suite.
I am able to send an operator logo to my phone but the "logo" is not trasparent. All the space is being filled with white...thus I have a white colour rectangle as operator logo instead of a transparent one.
I have also downloaded the blank.nol as provided by the link http://www.encodinginfo.org.uk/nokia/blank.nol but the Nokia graphics just could not read the file. Neither can it read the gif after I rename it.
There must be some steps that I made a mistake but I just do not know how to get rid of the operator logo.
Thus I need some assistance here as I cant have a transparent logo.

1. mistake: Logomanager is not compatible with the Nokia 6610 (or any/nearly all other color-display phone)
2. mistake: the .nol-file is for WAP-downloading via you cellphone, not for downloading it via your computer and than upload it to you cellphone. Just open the link within you cellphone via WAP, after that you get a message on the screen "Operator Logo Received", just klick options and save it. Only costs you have are the one for the WAP-connection.

Thank you to JameLast who pin point the mistake. Otherwise I would have continue relying on Logomanager, trying to upload logo to the phone. I have since managed to "remove" the existing operator logo without any hiccup and for the benefit of all, these are the step by step procedure which I took (note that I do not have any WAP nor GPRS subscribed...thus would have to rely entirely on downloads from internet and uploading from my laptop to the phone via infra-red)
1. Download the blank.nol (posted in one of the message) and renaming it to blank.gif
2. Download and install a software called MobiMB Mobile Media Browser. (I am using version 1.21). Many later version of this software out there but this is the only version I am able to find an old license copy.
3. Using the installed software, "upload" or transfer the downloaded blank.gif to the phone in the image folder. (the software is able to explore out all the folders in your phone e.g. image, audio etc). Its very user friendly and is almost "idiot" proof.
4. After transfering the blank.gif to the phone's image directory, simply right-click your mouse over the file and select "use as default operator logo"
5. Whalla...the exisiting operator logo is virtually removed or is now replaced with the blank.gif
Hope the above guidance is useful, although I still could not figure out why I cant do the same with my Nokia Graphics software.

Maybe your provider sends an override signal like AT&T likes it to do.

I have a Nokia 7250, I managed to downlaod and transfer the transparent image to the phone, however, when I go to Display Settings, Operator logo is "OFF", and is disabled, I can't change it to the ON option! It seems that T-mobile, my provider, is overriding it through the signal. Is there anyway I can change the Operator logo in this case??
