The option is grayed out because you don't have an active logo.
The option is only active when a logo is set, you can't set a logo with it, only deactivate and reactivate it.
Thank you for you quick responce....but here is the problem: how do I set this option?
Because when I try my cell won't let me.....can you please offer more detailed info....thank you so much

The easiest way is just to dowload operator logo from the link in the Nokia Forum in my "Common Problems" thread directly to your handy.
Otherwise you need software like MobiMB or Oxygen Phonemanager to set a operator logo.

er..
i just got my 1st nokia hp.. its 6230 i dun not know how to get the blank operator logo. i got pc suite and usb cable. how do i do it??

  ,Hi,I was wondering if someone can help me,i just bought a Nokia 6230,love it,but when i set the groups ringtones,it just keeps playing the same one for all,keep trying everything i can think of,also,my pc doesnt support Bluetooth,Hope someone can help,coz it drivin me mad!

my blank operator logo now becomes a question mark box?
im using a 6230.
i tried dling the blank op logo again but i couldn't save it.
When asked if i wan to replace the current logo, i choosed yes.
but it says "File cannot be saved".
some kind soul help? pretty pls..

^^^I have the exact same problem. Now every logo that I send doesn't appear on the screen. I thought it was a problem with the software but I had it updated and it didn't make any difference.

Some providers do send a overwritting signal so their operator logo can't be blocked out.

I have found that the website shown above (http://www.encodinginfo.org.uk/nokia/blank.nol ) is now closed. Just looked on some other websites and found a link for (http://wap.mob453.com). Just tried this and it works for my Nokia 6820. At last I can see my pictures without the annoying OK - UK!!!
just type it in your browser from your phone and pick blank operator logo. its free!

I've just tried going to http://wap.mob453.com just now on my T-Mobile Nokia 6230i, and after choosing the blank op logo, it worked right away and with no problems. I've rebooted the phone and the blank logo is still there, so unless they only send a reset code out daily, it looks like it's here to stay.
Also, I should point out that I tried using the .nol file on my phone (different website) only that did not work, and simply saved it as a blank image.

dudes?! all of ur methods r crap.. not evry1 has WAP activated on their fone, nor do they hav bluetooth or a usb cable.... my way is the simplest and easiest way 2 get a trasparent logo, FREE!...
go to www.smspup.com register a free account if u dont already hav one.. once u register u receive 5 free points.. (the free logos etc r based on a point system - 1 logo = 1 point)
- once u are l ogged in, click "Nokia Fun" on the left side menu.
- go to where it says "preview"
- choose not to hav a background
- (dont worry about the font size)
- just simply press a space in the box where u type your text for ur logo
- choose ur network; optus telstra voda? click preview, it should preview a blank logo
- now click send.. it will now send u a transparent logo via sms for FREE =)
IT WORKED FOR ME! and im so happy..
btw i figured this out myself and im 17.... u guyz sounds lyk ur in ur 20's and u came up with complex ways of getting somthing so simple ~.~
btw www.smspup.com is probly not the only site you culd get a transparent logo from.. any sites that allow u to compose a logo and send it to ur fone will do fine =) - this wuz just the onli free site i culd find =D
