this is the best way to get rid of ur operator logo. theres another way(by creatng a 1x1 gif image and transferring it by mobi mb) but u will have a small white dot on ur background. this way is even better, there will be absolutely nothng obstructing ur wallpaper.
note: u must have pc suite!
1. from pc suite choose nokia pc graphics
2.click the operator logo icon on the top left
3. activate the IR on ur phone and point it to the IR of ur pc/laptop
4. when thers a connection, click the icon that looks like a small post card and says"send picture over the air"
5. data will be read from ur phone, punch in ur own mobile phone number and click send.
6. u will receive an sms that says (operator logo received), save it.
7. from settings: display settings: opertaor logo: choose on!!
thats it!!! u now have a really transparent logo!! please try this and let me know if it worked for u too!

Everbody who has made his own 1x1 gif and has the problem with the one white dot has make it wrong. That's all...
You've got to make a complete transparent gif (such as used on many, many websites to protect the pictures on it), the people with the white dot problem didn't do that.
Nice, old trick, but in my opinion useless when you aren't to stupid to make a transparent gif
And not everybody has a Infra-Red-Device

I can only speak for Jasc Paint Shot Pro 7.02
Make a new Image, 1x1, 8bit (greyscale), background transparent.
Then go and save it as gif. In the part of that procedure where you can name the file, there is a "Options"-Button click on it, then there click on "Run Optimizer...".
Leave all settings as they are, except for one at "Partial Transparency".
There is a option which is called "Would you like to blend partially transparent pixels?" - there you have to choose "No, use the existing image color at 100% opacity".
If you don't do so, every transparent pixel would be filled with white. And that's why everbody has a white dot, who makes his own gif. They don't know about that. They just make a gif and save it.

here is a link to download a blank operator logo if you want to download it thru wap on you phone just type in the exact address on your mobile phone browser & you will recieve it instantly just click options & save.
If you want to do upload it thru infra red just right click on the link save target as but make sure you rename it as blank.gif instead of blank.nol then just upload it thru your infra red Njoy

I'm having a lot of problems getting the transparent operator logo to work on my nokia 6200... i have the blank.gif on my phone in it's own folder, and I used mobimb to set it as the operator logo.. but nothing happens! logomanager doesn't work for me ... it's not listed as a compatible phone, and i've also tried using logomanager with my phone... help!
