Hi, wife and I just got brand new RAZRs and we are both having screen issues. After playing with my phone for about 45 minutes (inputting numbers, changing settings, etc.), the screen went white. I turned the phone on and off, and then half an hour later, it started to flicker and went black. I couldn't turn the phone on or off at that point. I took out the battery, and put it back in and the phone has seemed to work ok. However, given its a new phone, I'm wondering if I should take it back or if there is some known issues with RAZRs. Also, my wife has noticed a slight flickering on her screen as well, but it hasn't completely gone blank like mine did.

Anyone have any thoughts?

If they are brand new, take them back before your buyers remorse if up and get two new ones.

Good to hear... its definately not a know issue, the only official known issues that im aware of is the humming problem and the battery will not charge right unless you use OEM chargers.

mine so far had no issues with that. What i would do in a case like that is return the phone and have it repaired using the warranty if any. I remember that my old v180 had a problem with the screen , i opened the screen and i went black one day. i took it to motorola and they fixed it. hope this is usefull

regards. luk

I'm having the same problem with my Black V3. I've had it for 1 day and its gone white probably 20 times. The only way I've been able to clear it up is to pull the battery out and turn it back on. Mine is going back to the dealer tomorrow for a replacement. @ $250.00 they better just replace it. Can't aford to be with out it at anytime.

I'm having backlight probelms with my E815. Used to I could take the battery out while it was on and it would come on, but now I can't get the backlight to turn on. I got it off ebay so I don't think I can get it fixed. I made about 5 different threads in different forums and nobody will help me. I guess I wasted $300. Now I have to get a new phone. When is the razr coming out for verizon?
