Hey All
My Cousin will give me his Quad band Phone(Treo 650). Can I get this one working with the Pay As You Go plan??? Also if I can get it going can I use the Web Browser(Blazer)to search the Web??? I Didn't see anyway of doing this on the T-Mobile WebSite other than the SideKickII Payments($1 a Day)??? If I can do it this way(SideKickII Payment) can the T-Mobile(Store)people help me setting this Up???
Thanks!!!
Brad

You will be able to use the Treo on the pay as you go, but you will only be able to make calls and send messages.
You won't be able to browse the web, and because the phone is not supported by T-Mobile you won't even be able to get ringtones, screensavers, and games from our website.
If you want to use the 19.99 html internet plan you will need to get on a contractual plan.
Now we do have a prepaid sidekick plan with web access, but it is specifically for our sidekick II.

Hey Technical Care
My only problem with the SideKickII is it doesn't do 128 SSL so I can't login to Ebay and do any Buying, plus I Can't do any Work without 128SSL.
Will T-Mobile get a Phone/PDA at has 128SSL for Web Work on Pay As You Go???
Thanks Again!!!

Probably not anytime soon Brad. The pay as you go market is definitly increasing as more and more people want to not be bound by a contract, but data services become difficult to market. The dollar a day sidekick data plan is not as popular as you may think. T-Mobile is constantly doing surveys and studies, and believe me if they find there is a demand for a pda to go they will do it, and other companies will follow I am sure.

Hey Technical Care
Thanks for the Info!!!
So Pay As You Go, People aren't really using the Web services as you see it(T-Mobile)... On other Forums(quite a few I've seen)All they seem to Talk about is How to Try to get Web services enabled... Even Here... this is for Pay As You Go Plans, or are these people just the Linux Type Hackers...hahaha
Dollar a Day isn't Bad, I would think if you guys(T-Mobile)are watching the Different Forums you'd see this??? I'd probably use it about 10-20 times a month, I know I'd use this more than the Phone side of things(about 10 to 20 times More).
I could Care Less about Talking to People, other than SMS/IM Stuff...hahaha
Thanks Again!!!

Only a small portion of people talk on these forums when you look at the grand scale. Also people that use the forums are usually more tech savvy than others. Most people call support as soon as their phone stops making calls, but they don't think to powercycle the phone. The majority of customers have trouble using features on their phone, or have no idea of the capability of their phone.
