Do you work for T-Mobile because each post that is a negative experience you make it a point to actually let people know that you have had a great experience with the company. The company is unprofessional when it comes to customer service. After reading your August 30 entry I was amazed that you thought that it was motorola's issue to rectify the displeasure of the customer. I don't know where you're from but in America when a business sells a product they stand behind the quality of the product of the company either doesn't last long or they become a negative entity in the eyes of the consumer. For instance if you purchase a Calvin Klien garment from Macy's do you return it to Calvin Klien or talk to a representative from Calvin Klien? No you go straight back to Macy's and return it or exchange it for an undamaged product. The same thing is true with appliances. The only company that I have experienced that does not see this is Tmobile. My contract is up in January. I truly hope that those who are contemplating going with Tmobile rethink their potential purchase and go with a company that will stand behind their product. Not just the service but the hardware that they sell to unsuspecting customers and then when it breaks down they do everything in their power to make sure they let the individual know they are only responsible for the service.
I highly recommend that know one get involved in such a sordid company and those of you who are having an issue please keep me informed. If any one does start up a class action law suit, Count Me In!!!
One last thing. Technical Support - if only all of the stuff that you said was even close to the truth I would never have come to this site to bring my experience to the attention of hundreds of people. If you believe Tmobile is a panacea of the cellular industry you are sorely mistaken. I did exactly what I would do if I were working with any other company. Tmobile only allows you to go to a manager and when you ask to escalate the issue they, believe it or not, give you a fax number to send your complaint. When you ask for a contact name and direct phone number they won't give any such thing. Obviously the CEO's and other managers realize the problem and don't want to be bombarded with the amount of calls they would recieve because the product is very below standard. I've owned my own business for many years and have many friends who are CEO's in fortune 500 companies that would never think of giving a customer a fax number to send their complaints to if they wanted to escalate it. BAD BUSINESS. HORRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE! The reason Tmobile is running the 1500 minutes for 39.99 is becasue they are having trouble keeping customers and want to attract more. It is my hope that those would be customers read these entries and do some research on their own before the make a pact with Devil of the Cellular industry.

Well here is a good tip for you to leave sooner, cause im sure that customer care enjoys talking to you as much as you enjoy talking to them. When you have 30 days or less left in your contract port your number to your new carrier, if you agree to pay the remaining days of your contract we will waive the ETF.

Good tip already planning it no reason to be so defensive just because customer care at tmobile is horrid as you can see there are more people then me saying the same thing so um i think theres a problem you dont have to ask your customers to leave there all going to do it on there own

I have been with T-Mobile for almost 3 years. I had a different shoddy phone (made by Siemens) that would shut off seemingly at random. It was like not actually having a phone. No one could call me because it was always off and it would take 5 minutes for the phone to reboot (assuming that it worked the first time) so that I could call out. I understand how upset you are completely, but the best statement to come out of this post is "You get what you pay for"... T-Mobile is an inexpensive service, with shoddy support, and cheap mostly-worthless phones. It is a cell phone service for people new to cell phones. Dr. if you are in the South you should research Nextel...

Well to talk about T-Mobiles customer service, my experience so far is as long as you dont have a problem all is well. Call them with a problem or complaint and they treat you like crap. I have been calling and emailing for a mounth about my V330. I have mobile phone tools and I can not transfer pictures with the USB cable from the phone nor upload ringtones. A lot of componies lock this feature requiring you to send them through their service and pay for it. I was told when I bought the service that T-Mobile doesn't. When I open phone tools the option to explore phone opens then nothing works. T-Mobile wont answer If this option is locked by them or not. I also had a problem with a bluetooth ear piece that came with the phone. It failed at 15 days. I was told by T-Mobile that they dont support the Accessories that come with the phone call Motorola. Well it would have been nice If they told me that when I bought the phone. I was told I had a year warranty. When I told customer service I would return the phone for another one I was told your 14 days has run out you cant return it. Then she hung up on me when I asked to talk to her manager. I callled Motorola they said to send it back and I would have to pay shipping both ways and they charge $19.95 to ship back. I chucked it in the trash and bought a new one for $29.00 at Radio Shack works fine again. My service has been ok and I love the phone but T-Mobile customer service is the worst I have run across. When my year is up so will my use for them.
