The smart key on my V635 turns on camera when phone is closed. I have it set to 'ring styles', but the darn camera keeps coming on when I bump the smart key by accident. Is there anyway to stop this??? I keep taking pictures of the inside of my back pack.

You can hex edit the phone so you can lock the keypad by the old nokia trick (menu + *) as I did on my old T720, and my V551. If you want to try this ill look up the offsets, otherwise I don't know if you can change what that button does. (LG has it set where you have to push and hold for a delayed time before it will initiate the camera too bad moto didn't pick up on that apparantly)

That feature needs to be hexed to on. Sorry for that confusion.

I will have to go through the 0032_0001.seem and find the exact offsets for you, but it helped for me. The keypad lock is a nice feature if you have problems with the outer buttons commonly.
