Have you checked the following link from one of the members in this forum:
http://www.personal.psu.edu/users/s/j/sjs342/
Click on Firmware Mods and you can find OptiFlash 4.14T (use X40x for phone setting). You can also find firmware for 427M.
I know that it may not solve your problem as you can't pass the "Power on Mobile" stage. Keep trying with the battery is what I can suggest for now. Check the following threads:

Did they replace your X427M with Z500a? You are lucky, Z500a has more features than X427. It can play MP3 as ringtone.

Well I had an upgrade on a phone on the account, and there was a $50 mail in rebate on the z500a, so I got that.
But yeah, even after messing with the battery and the power, I couldn't get it to power on. I really loused it up nicely
I think the only reason I'm going to get a data cable now is to transfer pictures, otherwise I'll end up breaking it again haha.

Now that you have the Z500a which I believe is a Sony Ericcson phone, you need a different data cable and all that you learn for X427 will not apply to Z500a. You have to visit Sony Ericcson Talk to get more information there.
