Hi
Bit of a n00b here so please be gentle. I have the Motorola V220, and Phone Tools version 3.25b.
I have downloaded some WAV files - Star Wars noises if you must know - from the Internet and want to use them as RINGTONES. I have access to WAVCLEAN and PolderbitS's Sound Editor.
For example, a Darth Vader clip, I have in two formats:
apart8.wav
Bitrate 88kbps
8 bit, mono
sampled 11 kHz
PCM format
I also have it at
apart16.wav
Bitrate 176kbps
16 bit, mono
sampled 11 kHz
PCM format
Both play just fine in Windows.
When I transfer them to the phone and try to play them in the SOUNDS section of MUTIMEDIA it says:
"File has unidentifiable information. Delete?"
What's going wrong? What format do the need to be, HELP!!!!!!
