ATT customers who have not yet activated with Cingular and continue to get dis-service  instead of Customer Service from ATT, Call toll-free 877-339-7528 to reach the ATT Corporate Office and so-called Office of the President. This is the route I am taking. Wish me luck and I wish you luck!

I did get through to ATT Office of the President. However, the woman I spoke with wasn't very courteous. She was more interested in the sound of her own voice and telling me what ATT wouldn't do than she was in hearing about my problem. The situation is finally resolved to ATT's satisfaction. A month after I spoke with the Customer Dis-Service Rep, I sent a fax to her and told her we needed to resolve the issue whether she liked me or not. This is when the issue was finally closed.

 I was hoping for some better news, heh. Oh well, at least you tried what a lot of other people wouldn't have...

It wouldn't hurt to try! Have you changed over to Cingular yet? I haven't. If I were you, I would give them a call. Keep me posted.

I'm not trying to be a pest and I congratulate you for actually doing something about the issue, but odds are that it was just someone's secretary that you got on the line, the Corporate Office usually isnt trained on dealing with customer care issues, so they will probably be a little annoyed by being called by customers, but on the bright side they will probably give you a lot more just to get you off the phone

Normally I would agree with you. But this number is for real. Call them and you will see what I mean.
