ok, i have tried to do what it says in the motorola talk sticky forum --
My phone displays a "enter subsidy code" message but the phone is not locked. What can I do?
Open up P2K Manager and search for file "secure_pds_init."
Delete it.
Done - no problem.
Go to Settings -> Personalize -> Greeting & delete the "Flex Error: Phone Subsidy-Locked" message.
umm, exactly what settings are they talking about? not in p2kman, since there's no settings like this.... not on the phone, since it still says subsidy code - in what program or how do you get to this to delete it?

When it said " enter subsidy pass" your fone is lock so you need to unlock it to get rid of that message

ok, i thought that was the point of those instructions..... to unlock it. so i'm guessing that somehow those instructions were not for unlocking your phone.... gotcha.

Those instructions are not for removing the subsidy lock. Just fixing the "Flex Error: Phone Subsidy-Locked" message

so i'm guessing that there is no way to unlock it then, since i've already tried the two methods on http://motoaide.com:8081/unlock.htm & my phone still says, "enter subsidy pass"

Flash it to a 364 flash. Use the unlocker once it is at 364. Then get the non-locking 365 flash that I emailed to Old Fool. I think he has it hosted somewhere.

tried that too - in fact, tried a bunch of 364's just to not miss anything. still didn't make a difference.

Double check everything cause there is no reason why it shouldnt work. Fool has the flash and not sure if its being hosted at motoaide or not, email fool and find out.
