Some of you guys might have read my thread about me frying my x427 while trying to turn it into an x427m , and I have a new question about my phone that just arrived (without the battery, so I can't use it yet).
In my house, we have 3 cell phones (mine, my father's, and my mother's). Since my phone was the most recently added one, it wasn't eligible for an upgrade, so we used my mother's upgrade (she doesn't need new features, her's is just for emergencies).
They sent out the phone upgrade (z500a) with a SIM card for her. However, this SIM card was a 64k, as opposed to the 32k we all currently have.
My question is: Will I be able to put my 32k SIM from my fried x427 into the z500a and still have it work fine? Or do I have to somehow get a 64k SIM card for this new phone with my number built in?

the 64k sim *should* work in the 427 no problem...you wont hurt anything by swapping them around

I'm sorry if I didn't say it right, it was kind of hard to write down correctly.
I mean the SIM for my number right now is the 32k SIM. I'm taking it out of my x427, and I'm going to put it in the z500a.
Will it work fine even though the z500a arrived here with a 64k card instead of a 32k?

Okay, thank you
Is there a big difference between 64k and 32k?

just the ability to hold 2 IRDB's instead of 1. 32k will work fine in that phone
