I have a motorola v555. I bought a normal usb cord that went with the phone instead of the blue tooth. I have the MPT Software and everything seems to be working fine, but when I go to 'move' my pictures from my phone to the computer it says to look for devices I do that but then it says that their are no devices found. Can anybody help? I've been looking for days.

Ok, if your not using Bluetooth thats your problem. You use Mobile Phone Tools(MPT) to transfer pic from Phone to PC. You open multimedia center and use Mobile Explorer and copy them from the picture file to wherever you want them to go on the PC. Try that because if USB not BT then you don't use the phone at all you use only the PC.

Hmm. I understand what you are saying but there isn't anything on my MPT that says like "My computer zone" and like "Mobile phone zone. I was in the help section and was trying to find the step by step process but I can't seem to see where the "In the My Computer zone, click one of the tabs" is. I feel really stupid because normally I figure all of this stuff out on my own.

I went into my Multimedia Center and there isn't anywhere that says Mobile Explorer(not even a button on the left side). Maybe I don't have the right version of the MPT.
**You can ignore the other post because it may seem to confusing**

Under the page that opens when you first load the multimedia center it should be on the left tabs, 2nd from the top. I don't know if its available for your phone on MPT then? I'll check compatibility and post back.

The only buttons I have on the left side are
Image Studio
Melody Studio and
MMS Studio
I did the live update on the MPT and nothing changed either. I'm probably missing something really obvious.

Well thats odd....but ok, if you want to download pictures from the phone and MPT won't help, resort to P2kman or P2ktools. (I recommend P2ktools for the downloading and uploading of files, a lot less confusing than p2kman.
http://motoaide.com:8081 if you need the program. Go to the Picture directory and look for the title
*Helpful Hint*
**To select more than one object to download select the first item then hold down Ctrl on the keyboard and click on the next files then click the download button**

I downloaded that program and I went into the program and clicked and the top toolbar.. Phone.. and then connect. Then an error comes up that shows just a bunch of letters that don't say anything.(look like letters with accents) I hit refresh and it said Phone not connected.

Make sure that MPT is closed, if you just closed MPT make sure you give it 5 minutes, then plug in the cable, wait for the outer LCD light to turn off, then open P2ktools and wait a minute, then click connect.
