I understand that, but at work...(a gsm carrier) I can bring up a customers account, and I can see their IMEI, then if I bring up their call logs I can check their ESN which is tagged to each call.
that would be a limitation of that piece of software....it does not change the terminology..........it would appear that it was software adapted for use with GSM....why design something new when you can modify something old.....cost saving measure
that opened my eyes a bit too.
