I'm selling my Kyocera se44 cellphone and they ask me for the esn #? There's a bunch of numbers on the back of the phone, I don't know which one is it? Can someone please tell me, I'll surely appreciate it very much. Thanks

Just tell them you do not want to provide the ESN (Electronic Serial Number), this is something you prob do not want to give out if you are trying to sell on Ebay and they are asking you this questions Via email. Just assure the buyer the phone is NOT stolen and you do not feel comfortable releasing the IMEI/ESN until after payment.

take out the battery... on the label inside the phone you will find the equipment label.... look for a 15 digit number labelled ESN

The ESN is not located on the back of any/most phones. Its not located on the back or my Samsung X426, Nokia 3390 or Motorola V600.

your x426 or V600 do not have an ESN (Electronic Serial Number) as they are GSM devices... they have an IMEI (International Mobile Equipment Identification ) number....

I understand that, but at work...(a gsm carrier) I can bring up a customers account, and I can see their IMEI, then if I bring up their call logs I can check their ESN which is tagged to each call.

Thats the given account ESN # I don't believe the phone itself is tagged with the ESN when on GSM networks.

ESN is phone specific. The ESN related to the calls change when the customer uses a different phone.
