Yeah, I started to think the same thing too. But I checked out my account on the Verizon webpage and the RS guy seems to be right. But I can't figure out how.

Hey there...

If you upgraded on a 2 year contract in Nov 2004, you will be eligible for a "regular" upgrade and the NE2, 22 months from the upgrade date or Sept 2006. For eligible customers who have upgraded on a 2 year contract, considerations can be made, once you have had the phone for at least 12 months. Keep in mind... "eligible" is the operative word. Any Verizon Customer Service Rep is able to determine this for you. Give them a call.

I hope this makes sense. icon_smile.gif

Is the NE2 program you have to sign up for or is included in all 2 year contracts. The other week I went into a Verizon store to pick out a new phone as they had told me that I was eligible for the sale prices. No one mentioned anything about a $100 credit. Is this only on family plans? Even when I went online the only price they offered was the 2 year plan price.
Thanks

It's pretty complex, Justin. Things like early upgrades and one year contracts and even EZ moves or assumptions of liability can affect NE2. Best best to call into customer care and ask about your particular situation.

Thanks for the heads up tampadelphian.
I never signed up for NE2 so when I went to the Verizon store the other day they were only offering me the two year renewal rate on the phones. (Ex: $200 for the EnV). Nothing really enticing me to sign up again. Maybe I'll give a call in as you recommend. Can the customer care offer me anything that they wouldn't/couldn't at the store?
