Yeah, so I got the RAZR and I'm definately not impressed. Other than it's thinness, its a typical moto cell phone. So, I'm planning on taking it back for a different phone, but
are there going to be any phones coming out within the next 25 days that would be worth waiting for. there's been buzz about the itunes phone which is supposedly gonig to be announced tomorrow, but anyone have any suggestions?

personnaly i think the V3 is one of the best phones for reception, but you're right, feature-wise its another Moto.
2 higer end phones due out will be the E1 ROKR (iTunes Phone) and the Samsung D307. don't have any specs on either, but the D307 is listed as a high end phone. The E1 is due tomorrow, and the D307 is TBD still.

If you guys are getting the New Nokia 6101 like T-Mo I doubt he will be impressed by that phone if he wasnt impressed by the V3.

Dude, I went to upgrade my v551 to a RAZR. It was then I saw the messiah of cellphones. The ROKR E1. It makes the RAZR look like a pig in a silk dress. For just over a hundred bucks I got a cell phone that gives me HOURS of music. It comes ALL inclusive with everything you'll need to start enjoying being light years ahead of the regular cell phone people. I went to buy a cellphone, instead I bought a 512MB ipod that makes calls and texts and goes on the internet for just over a hundred clams...
Anyone who goes for the RAZR once the ROKR is out is throwing away money just to look cool.

I agree. The ROKR is definitely on my list for my next phone purchase.

So I got a black V3 for christmas. can I just go to a cingular store and trade it for a rokr, or do I have to pay more money for it?

since you've had it less than 30 days, you can return it to the store. sometimes the price of phones will depend on the market, but if the rokr is different, then you would need to pay the difference between the two.
