All,
I have been reading this forum for about a month and have learned quite a bit about flash/flexing. I have a V505 that I flashed to .58R (yes i know it loads a new boot loader). Now the phone will not do anythning. No lights NOTHING!!! The battery is fresh (I have 4 other Vxxx phones to pull from). When I hook up to PST, it reads the phone a S blank Neptune LTE (which I guess means the phone has nothing loaded in it). When I attempt to flash it, I get:
"Error sending RAM download for bootloader. Error 0xE00200C7 while sending address 0x3FD0010."
Is this phone salvagable and if so, what do I need to get it back up?

Try starting the phone in bootloader mode hold * + # + power and then the phone should start, then plug in the phone to the cable and load multiflashflex. After its all connected proceed uploading the flash to the phone. I'd Imagine you erased the flash/flexes by updating your bootloader, so as long as the bootloader will start your ok and in business.

I have tried for about the last 5 days to get the phone go into flash mode or bootloader mode by using the *#power, but NO luck. I have found that I can put it into flash mode occasionally by removing the battery and unplugging the usb cable, then pressing *# while inserting the cable. It wont do it all the time (few and far between), but even when I get it into flash mode, it still will not take a flash.
Any ideas?

I don't entirely know, you can try removing the battery for a min or two then try getting it to bootloader menu again. After that keep attempting the flash until it takes it. Right now thats the only information I can give.

When you got it in flash mode what does it said that you have in there now?

I have nothing on the screen at all. The only reason I know its in flash mode when I plug it up in RDS, it says S Flash Neptune LTE instead of the normal S Blank Neptune LTE.
I am pretty sure the bootloader is corrupt. When I use RDS with the phone in the S Blank..... , it says I need to have a ROM superfile or something like that (sorry I am at work and not in front of the phone). Does such a file exist? Everyone is telling me that a monster flash will work, but I have the .58R and the .55R and they dont work. From what I understand, I cannot go back to any other bootloader version.
Also Old_Fool, on a seperate note, what hardware do you have to unlock? I am looking at purchasing and want to get the right thing. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

i have hte same problem with my v551. i get a "s blank neptune" as device under MFF.

you will have to flash with a monster pack or use a sc to recover
