I think I want to get the DS, but I do like the PSP's better in game graphics. But I don't like how theres nothing to protect the lcd from scratches, I'm alittle accident prone so the DS seems like the better buy.
Which one do think is better? (games, design, functions, etc)

For the PSP you can buy screen protectors like for a phone
But I won't own one... the count of reports about dead pixels is way to high... and the trouble with Sony about that... no way...
Also I've got my smartphone... enough entertainment
BTW: here in Germany the PSP is out of stock... not even a week after the started to sell them!

wow I didn't know about the dead pixels, its real sounds great, but... I don't know.
I've made up my mind, I will get the DS, based on the games that I have looked up. If I want PSP game I can probably find them out on the PS2 or PS3.

I thought about keeping my gba(selling price is $30 bucks), but the ds look really awesome. I played on one in wal-mart but it was all scratched up but I really liked the second screen. I think gamestop is sell used ds for $109.00 so thats not to bad. But the only thing is, are there any scratches on the lcds?

I'm saving my money for a PS3. I've got an old school gameboy that I play every once in a while.
