Hi Don!

Long tine! icon_wink.gif

I'm using or should I say, like to use this 4.16t! I have a couple different copies of it, one with the e720 choice and the other I have to choose p777, e760 but niether of them recognize when I press the on/off....

Could it be a bad cable?

As for usb drivers... icon_sad.gif
They didn't work.....

" WMC USBL App " is what pops up when I press the *+on/off for a sec and none of the samsung drivers work for it.

Hey You icon_biggrin.gif

I personally don't thing the you have a "bad" cable, this * ON/OFF method might work if you have the correct drivers

Try this driver: USB Driver II

Selfextract to: Here
It will create a dir called "Here" where you saved it when downloaded.
Then open Device manager/Update driver and Browse to that dir Here\Samsung Mobile USB Driver.

no luck icon_sad.gif Same as before....

Could it be because of me only having usb1.1 ?

oh yeah,
XP pro
Aopen ax6bc - usb 1.1

or could it be the wrong usb cable!!?
I bought the kit pkt110 and in the box I got the disc and cable marked PCB180USE. but when I check Samsungs site I see they have the PCB181BSEC as the usb cable of choice! That cable comes in the pkt130.
for the sgh-e730.......... icon_wacko.gif

Strange.. The E720 uses the cable.
PKT110LBEG/STD - PC link kit
PCB181BSEC/STD - PC link cable

And the E730
PKT130LBEG/STD - PC link kit
PCB113BSEC/STD - PC link cable

Does that cable work with PC Studio?
