dima_25,
Any takers for your offer?
I will pay $$ for text message records too! I am the primary account holder but I need the text of some deleted messages back.
Can anyone help?

No, the contents of your text messages can't be read, online or anywhere else. The items purchased however, ringtones, wallpapers etc, are labled with their name/description so that is not private.
im so confused.ok, are you sure that my text messages cannot be read online by me? like if i was on my cell phone and i typed to a friend "hey what is up?" then could i go on the computer and see that i typed "hey what is up?"? please tell me, thank you soo much!

Guys, can you imagine the world of shit that doing this would open up? Thank Heavens that this can't be done at all.
I asked a system engineer about the information stored by the mobile phone system and at that point, , and he couldn't be very specific for obvious reasons, the only information kept on record was the phone call's sender, the receiver, and the time and date of the call. I took this to mean that the phone system is simply a conduit for transferring text message from one phone to another. If an engineer is lurking here and can elaborate or correct me, please do so.
I think it's been plainly stated here more than once. No way, no how. Won't happen. Nada. Zilch.

wow. this forum may be old, but i really need to say that once i have read all of thie thread, i am upset as with me being teir 2 tech with ATT, you can no longer view text message detaild (the actual message). This is a privacy issue against the privacy law act!. The physical only was for anyone to gain access to that amount of detail is through the courts with a court document.! cant do it online, no website u can log onto to access your old text messages. sorry ppl for the confusion but really.

I don't understand people. They want us to be recording text messages so they can view them more easily (?), but would all be incredibly outraged if we were recording phone calls for any reason. Doesn't make much sense to me.
