I have usb cord , mpt, and pk2man.
I have used them all to down load seems pics ect.
my v3 is recogniced by my computer as a moto modem,I can dial from the skin on the desk top, but can not from connetion manager,
the phone will display "calling 555-555-5555" but then the error "remote computer does not answer" all this takes place in about 1 sec.
I have tried adding ,,, before and after the phone number to dwell it, but it still does not work.
any help will be appresiated

We had a similar thread like this, we came to conclude that if you use a phone modem we don't entirely think the Cingular ISP will allow say AOL to connect or any other program. So for now I think you just have sit tight with the Cingular ISP.

You should use your Cellular Service provider as your ISP and I think that this is the only way you are going to get the internet to work. However if I am wrong keep in mind that you are still using your cell phone to dial up so good luck paying for the data transfer on your next cell phone bill.

sam has a point. Using phone as modem is really a bad idea unless you pay for the unlimted data package.

For sure, pay per use with data usually gets expensive quick.
